Start in 2026 SummerRISE® Robotics is seeking Mechanical and Test Engineers to support the growth of their technology. In this internship, you will work on the design, development, optimization, and validation of robotic motion control systems, collaborating with a cross-functional team to deliver high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities
Contribute to conceptualizing, designing, and testing components, systems, and assemblies. Participate in documentation, including technical drawings, schematics, specifications, test plans, and protocols
Collaborate in building and testing prototypes. Collect and analyze test data, troubleshoot issues, and provide feedback on product performance
Work closely with team members across engineering disciplines to integrate and optimize solutions. Engage in regular project meetings to ensure alignment and identify opportunities for innovation
Participate in brainstorming sessions to optimize product performance, efficiency, and reliability
Qualification
Required
Enrolled in or recently graduated from a trade school, or community college program in Mechanical Engineering or a related field of Engineering
Pursuing a Bachelors or Masters in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field of Engineering
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Self-motivated and adaptable, with a willingness to learn and take on challenges in a fast-paced setting
Excellent analytical abilities and a resourceful approach to problem-solving
Thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments, demonstrating adaptability and resilience
Driven by a deep enthusiasm for technology and a commitment to innovation
