Responsibilities

Provide leadership and direction with emphasis on change management
Insure that CSMC is transforming to meet the customer demands of a difficult manufacturing environment
Execute strategies and oversee activities through multiple organizations
Establish and execute standards and expectations for work effort and performance. Give constant feedback on performance to those standards
Implement lean manufacturing measures to insure value streams and shop operations are balanced at all times and/or to be able to identify areas of opportunity quickly
Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and other organizations to ensure customer happiness
Communicate to peers and management, the requirements that support processes to ensure smooth production flow
Establish system architecture designs that take into account customer requirements, resource availability, and other priorities

Required

Bachelor's Degree combined and 8 or more years of experience in an engineering, manufacturing operations, materials management/materials planning, quality, or related environment or OR a Master's degree combined with 5 or more years of experience in an engineering, manufacturing operations, materials management/materials planning, quality, or related environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in a STEM field
Experience in a team lead capacity
Aerospace industry experience
Experience utilizing SAP operating system
Advanced knowledge of materials management strategies, Lean manufacturing system design and shop floor management
Knowledge of continuous improvement principles (e.g. Lean manufacturing, CORE, QCPC)
CPIM certification or willingness to earn
