Bereavement Program Assistant
Hope Hospice is dedicated to providing compassionate care, and they are seeking a Bereavement Program Assistant to support their Bereavement Department. The role involves providing administrative and organizational support to ensure timely and confidential services for individuals and families experiencing grief.

Responsibilities
Provide administrative, clerical, and organization support to the Bereavement Department
Maintain accurate bereavement census and client records in EMR/EHR systems in compliance with HIPAA
Manage calendars, appointments, room scheduling, and department logistics
Answer and route phone calls; greet clients and visitors with professionalism and care
Prepare and distribute intake packets, mailings, and program materials
Design flyers, packets, schedules, and event materials using Canva and Microsoft Office
Assist with coordination and setup of meetings, groups, memorials, camps, and community events (some events/weekends with flex time)
Support onboarding of new staff, interns, and volunteers as needed
Qualification
Required
High School diploma required; college coursework a plus
Minimum two years of administrative or office support experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and Canva
Strong organization, communication, and customer service skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities with flexibility and attention to detail
Comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative team
Valid Texas driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
Preferred
Bilingual preferred but not required
