Maintenance Control Inspector

Responsibilities

Determine and communicate status of aircraft airworthiness
Perform audits of maintenance logbook entries, work packages generated by field maintenance to ensure adherence to LFN’s policies and regulatory requirements
Act as a liaison between management and technicians to ensure accurate, compliant and complete logbook documentation
Assist the Maintenance Control Manager in the development of improved methods and procedures for the performance of quality assurance functions
Assist in the maintenance of in-house technical publication library; ensure technicians have access to publications as required
Other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Control Manager

Qualification

AirframePowerplant CertificationFederal Aviation Regulations knowledgeFAR 135 turbine rotorcraft maintenanceMaintenance experience on specific aircraftMicrosoft Office Suite proficiencyAnalytical abilitiesVerbal communication skillsWritten communication skills

Required

Five years recent experience as an Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic
Airframe and Powerplant Certification
Comprehensive knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations
Five years' FAR 135 turbine rotorcraft maintenance experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Ramco
Ability to work evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends as needed
Analytical abilities sufficient to handle complex technical and administrative matters and take initiative, creating, implementing and improving processes and policies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and an ability to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization

Preferred

Three years' experience working for an EMS helicopter program
Maintenance experience on BH407, BH429, AW119, EC135 and PC12 aircraft
