Responsibilities
Support recruitment efforts by posting jobs, helping screen resumes, and coordinating interview logistics between candidates and the hiring team
Assist with routine data entry and maintenance in ADP, including updating employee records and helping process new hire documentation
Support the payroll team with basic administrative tasks, such as filing, data verification, and helping organize benefit enrollment materials
Assist in the preparation of internal communications, employee event coordination, and the maintenance of HR policy documents
Help compile basic HR metrics and reports from ADP as requested and ensure all digital and physical personnel files are organized and compliant
Assist the HR team in responding to basic employee questions or redirecting them to the appropriate subject matter expert
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Clear verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor
A fundamental understanding of the importance of handling sensitive employee information with care
Ability to shift between different administrative tasks as priorities change within the department
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Employee must be able to perform the physical functions of operating a motor vehicle, including use of eyes, ears, arms, hands, legs, and feet
Employee must be able to prove that he/she has a current and valid driver's license
Preferred
Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now
Previous experience in an office, administrative, or customer service environment
An interest in learning about the mining industry and its unique workforce requirements
