STAS Academic Programs Assistant

Researching and organizing information

Communicating with teachers across the catchment area
Supporting programmatic activities including program events, communications, etc

Required

This position is open to all students who are eligible to work on campus and will be employed through student Other Personnel Services (OPS) and must maintain a minimum 2.0 grade point average
Successful pre-employment screening including a background check

Preferred

Experience in a professional office environment, particularly in higher education, healthcare, research, or similar, preferred
Currently seeking a degree in Education, Public Administration, Business Administration, or appropriately relevant field
Strong desire to learn, seek out, and apply new knowledge, methods and information
Strong oral and written communications skills, especially proof-reading and public speaking
Ability to establish and maintain professional and effective working relationships with others
Ability to distinguish and properly manage confidential information and protected data, including sensitive documents, PHI, etc
Appropriate organization and communication skills to support collaborative work across teams and functions
Success using the Microsoft Office suite
