Responsibilities
Digitizes features and updates attribute information in client GIS environment
Updates tracking database as work is performed
Ensures process documentation, processes, and workflows are maintained
Collaborates with other team members to support the successful performance of their roles
Interface with internal departments to resolve issues
Qualification
Required
Associate Degree (or equivalent experience) in Geography, GIS, Information Systems, or related field
Entry level 1-2 years of experience, this position is at an entry level and training will be provided
Basic knowledge of GIS software and concepts
Experience with editing geographic databases
Experience working both independently and in team-oriented, collaborative environments
Ability to read construction drawings and interpret work performed by field crews
Prior experience in a utility related industry
Knowledge of ArcGIS Pro
Computer skills, proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to access cadastral data (i.e. parcel and Right of Way information) through multiple sources including County Assessor websites
Analysis of historical satellite imagery
