Responsibilities
Assisting Senior and Lead Project Managers in planning, managing, reporting, and monitoring projects from concept through implementation and closing
Tracking costs, performance, service levels and other metrics required to ensure project goals and objectives are met
Preparing and implementing communication plan for meetings and written reports or meeting minutes to keep stakeholders and project resources informed
Gathering data and assisting with preparing various reports covering project estimates, project status and other management reports
Directing small projects or sections of larger projects involving cross-functional teams, multiple internal and external constituents. This includes managing and executing the day-to-day operational aspects of all assigned projects, completing project documentation, tracking deliverables and gaining consensus from stakeholders to ensure successful implementation
Assisting with establishing project management processes and methodologies to ensure assigned projects are delivered on time, within budget and meet high quality standards and Leadership expectations using the appropriate tools
Meeting with internal customers of assigned projects to provide status updates, reporting, and gather project-related feedback
Performing other duties as requested
Qualification
Required
Knowledge of project management concepts and methodologies
Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills
Strong problem-solving and time management skills
Highly detailed-oriented and organized
Ability to work effectively both independently and as a part of the team
Ability to work on tight deadlines
2-5 years of professional experience with project management, process improvement and training responsibilities
Associate Degree - General Studies
Bachelor's Degree - General Studies
Project Management Professional (PMP) - Project Management Institute
