Bryan College is dedicated to integrating faith and learning in the classroom. They are seeking an Instructor/Assistant/Associate Faculty in Marketing who will teach undergraduate courses, mentor students, and contribute to curriculum development while supporting the college's mission.
Higher Education

Responsibilities

Teach a minimum of 12 credit hours per semester, provide timely feedback and grades to students, and work with the department chair in organizing courses
Prepare course plans and materials
Serve students – advising, recruitment, and retention
Keep weekly office hours to support student success and to personalize instruction
Support the Mission of the College through service on committees or through additional non-teaching initiatives
Other duties as assigned

Required

Minimum of a master's degree in field of study
Strong academic background
Passion for student engagement
Commitment to a Biblical worldview
Ability to create a syllabus and effectively deliver the learning objectives of the course
Ability to advise, instruct, manage, motivate, and evaluate students
Ability to learn relevant sections of BrightSpace, Bryan College's online learning management system
Ability to effectively and appropriately integrate technology into the teaching and learning process
Have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be committed to serving Him and His church
Endorse without reservation our mission and standards of conduct

Preferred

Terminal degree preferred
Previous college teaching experience preferred
Preference will be given to applicants with expertise in Marketing, but all specializations are encouraged to apply
Knowledge of principles, methods and current developments in the academic discipline and in professional practice
Knowledge of instructional strategies and techniques appropriate to teaching the courses assigned
