InternDMI Companies, Inc. is a leading manufacturer of HVAC accessories, and they are seeking a Chemistry Intern to assist their Chemistry team with quality control and product development. The intern will have the opportunity to manage a project and contribute ideas while performing various responsibilities related to quality control and documentation.

Responsibilities
Learn how to initiate and manage a project and execute cross-departmental collaboration
Review Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to understand company and industry processes before taking action in the lab
Perform quality control tasks on incoming materials and finished products
Create documentation such as technical reports
Qualification
Required
A student actively seeking a post-secondary degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
Ability to commute to our Monongahela, PA – this is a fully onsite role
Must be able to stand, walk, kneel, and bend in a lab setting. Will need to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion
Lab experience from coursework or research required
Preferred
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint preferred
Preference will be given to candidates with course work in material science, surface science or polymer chemistry
