Responsibilities
Leverage expertise in computer architecture, Basic Input/Output System (BIOS), firmware, and kernel development to power and optimize a global-scale server fleet
Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of the software solutions, managing project priorities and deliverables in a fluid environment
Drive early-stage system board bring-up and issue triage by implementing automated tools for diagnostics, performance evaluation, and reliability assurance
Partner with internal and external stakeholders to execute engineering programs, focusing on product development and fleet productivity
Provide technical direction for critical projects while mentoring engineers to elevate the overall quality of team engineering standards
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
8 years of experience in software development
5 years of experience testing, and launching software products
5 years of experience working with embedded operating systems
3 years of experience with software design and architecture
Experience in Linux, C++, Shell Scripting, Python, Operating Systems, Embedded Systems, GPU Drivers, Firmware, Linux Kernel, Reliability, and Leadership
Preferred
Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms
3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction
3 years of experience working in a global organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects
Experience in Computer Architecture, Bootloaders, Continuous Build, Continuous Deployment, Continuous Test, and GPUs/ML accelerators
