Responsibilities
Design and administer Dell Data Domain and Avamar backup and recovery solutions
Support VMware virtualization, including resource allocation, performance tuning, and capacity planning
Coordinate storage and network configurations needed for data protection
Monitor backup activities, troubleshoot failures, and perform restores as needed
Implement security and compliance requirements across data protection and virtualization platforms
Create and maintain technical documentation, including SOPs and run books
Qualification
Required
US citizenship
Active DoD Secret clearance
5+ years of experience with enterprise backup technologies (Data Domain, Avamar, or equivalent)
4+ years of VMware virtualization experience
Active Secret clearance and onsite availability at Fort Knox, KY
Strong storage and networking fundamentals
Solid troubleshooting and communication skills
Preferred
Relevant Dell backup or VMware certifications
Experience in DoD environments and knowledge of DISA or RMF
