Responsibilities
Support the software engineering lifecycle following the program Software Development Plan (SDP) to include requirements analysis, object-oriented analysis & design, code & unit test, integration, and support to formal test/delivery
Qualification
Required
Experience with programming languages such as C, C++
Standard teaming: Ability to work with multi-disciplined team
Experience with full software life cycle development including SW design, architecture and integration & test
BS in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
2–14 years of experience in embedded real-time software development
Active DoD Secret Clearance, or higher, is required
Preferred
Real Time Operating System (RTOS) experience – (GreenHill or VxWorks)
Knowledge of Agile Software Development
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
Previous experience writing and designing to software requirements
Previous experience with flight software for spacecraft, launch vehicles, or safety/mission-critical aerospace systems
