$22/hr - $24/hri9 Sports is Hawaii's youth sports leader offering leagues, camps, and clinics for kids. The Assistant Program Director works alongside the Program Director to manage day-to-day operations of local sports leagues, focusing on marketing, coach recruitment, and customer service.

Responsibilities
Assist in the execution of marketing with periodic road sign drops
Assist in the support of league operations
Assist in supervising part-time staff members and volunteer coaches
Assist with Nike Kids Camp
Assist in development of rosters, schedules, and programming for various sports
Assist in overseeing the daily operation of youth sports leagues, camps, and clinics
Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills
Attend City and County Field Users meetings island wide
Create and maintain field lining for outdoor programs
Help manage equipment and inventory, uniforms and program supplies
Address on-site issues professionally including parent concerns or game day challenges
Recruit, train and support coaches referees and site staff
Qualification
Required
Excellent communication & organization skills
Highly motivated self-starter; can work independently & solve problems
Awareness & ability to take charge of any situation to ensure the safety of players
Positive attitude and a strong ability to build professional relationships
Ability to work a varied work schedule including weekends
Must have reliable transportation
Comfortable leading groups and making decisions on the field
Able to lift and carry sports equipment and work outdoors in various work conditions
