StoryCraft Academy is a new learning platform and mobile app for fiction writers that aims to provide expert guidance through a scalable group-coaching subscription model. They are seeking experienced industry professionals to create actionable lessons and conduct group coaching sessions for aspiring writers.

Responsibilities

Pre-record 40–60 minutes of instructional content on 2–3 editing- or craft-related topics for subscribers to view in advance (you retain IP; we license the video)
Host one 60-minute monthly group coaching session (questions submitted ahead of time). Additional sessions may be added based on demand
Engage with subscribers, recommend upsells (masterminds, 1:1 services, retreats) and represent StoryCraft in occasional panels or events when invited

Required

Experienced industry professionals (editors, writing coaches, agents, published authors, other publishing professionals) who are passionate about teaching and coaching the next generation of writers
Practitioners who can create clear, actionable craft-focused lessons and run lively, supportive group coaching
Strong track record of writing, publishing, or editing novels, with excellent communication and facilitation skills
Commitment to inclusive, empathetic instruction and ability to work within a cohort/group coaching format
Comfortable creating recorded lessons and leading live online sessions
Have an existing platform that you could leverage
