Responsibilities

Provide waste management technical assistance and program information to customers and prospects over the phone and email
Produce written content such as emails, newsletters, reports, web content, and/or presentations
Assist with virtual and in-person events, such as planning logistics, hosting virtual meetings, recruiting speakers, collecting registrations, and networking
Perform research on alternative outlets for waste materials
Enter data into appropriate platforms to track customer interactions and results
Generate regular client invoices and reports, compiling metrics and progress towards program deliverables
Act as liaison with vendors, partners, customers, and other stakeholders
Occasionally travel throughout MA, CT, and NY to deliver in-person presentations

Required

At least 2 years of customer service experience and written communications experience, or 3-4 years of customer service (phone, email) and written deliverable (writing newsletters, blogs, program outcome reporting) experience
Excellent writing skills and can draft clear, well-organized, engaging written material for tip sheets, case studies, blog posts, and other web content
Strong communication skills with an ability to establish rapport with customers, clients, vendors, and coworkers on the phone, over email, in meetings, and at presentations and events
Excel at using Microsoft Office. Experience using spreadsheets and other digital tools to track and report on data. Experience in CRM platforms helpful, Salesforce preferred
Accuracy and attention to detail required
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
Ability to work with multiple programs and deliverables in a collaborative environment
High-speed internet access and a working location free from distractions and interference during business hours

Preferred

1 year of waste-related field experience is preferred
Ability to speak Spanish, Portuguese, Haitian, or Chinese is helpful but not required
