Responsibilities

Work alongside experienced energy experts and project engineers
Gain experience in various aspects of industrial facilities projects including writing request for proposal documents, engineering/design, scheduling and coordination, safety, field oversight, compliance, quality, and project turnover
Walk around RTX Connecticut campuses and access several levels in buildings using stairs and ladders

Required

Candidates must be currently pursuing a college degree in construction management, environmental science, or engineering field e.g. chemical, mechanical, electrical, or environmental engineering and must not graduate prior May 2026
1+ years of experience working with Microsoft Office

Preferred

Candidate must be a motivated student with sincere interest in the energy efficiency for building and production equipment
The successful candidate will have demonstrated academic success as well as involvement in extracurricular activities and groups
The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills and have the ability to adapt to changing demands and priorities in an industrial environment
Preferred basic knowledge of the following: Microsoft Project software, AutoCad software and basic proficiency in reading and understanding MEP type drawings, CMMS software (SAP preferred)
