Responsibilities
Design, build, and evolve a multi-tenant SaaS platform
Define service boundaries, APIs, integrations, and data ownership
Architect for security, tenant isolation, scalability, availability, and fault tolerance
Evaluate and select frameworks, databases, cloud services, and tooling
Partner with the CTO on architectural direction
Make pragmatic tradeoffs across speed, cost, robustness, and scale
Write production-quality backend and platform code
Build core workflow, document, and data-processing capabilities
Lead by example in code quality, testing, and performance
Design secure, multi-tenant data models
Build configurable workflow engines
Ensure auditability, logging, and traceability
Provide architectural guidance and code reviews
Collaborate daily with the CTO and development team
Mentor engineers through design discussions
Qualification
Required
8+ years of professional software development experience
Senior developer or hands-on architect experience
Secure, scalable, multi-tenant SaaS systems
Strong backend, API, and data modeling skills
Production operations experience
Preferred
Workflow or document management systems
Regulated or high-integrity environments
