Director/ExecutiveJerseySTEM is a mission-driven professional network aiming to improve access to STEM education for underserved middle school girls in New Jersey. They are seeking a Deputy Head of Curriculum Development and Training to provide leadership and guidance in creating and refining curriculum, while also supporting volunteer College Students in delivering engaging STEM curricula.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Curriculum Development and Program Instructors Training team, assisting in overseeing subject-specific teams (e.g., Coding, Lab sciences, Engineering, etc.)
Assist in hiring and onboarding new team members in coordination with the Human Capital (HUCA) department
Support the continuous improvement of JerseySTEM's Curriculum Design and Outreach Program implementation
Work with College Engagement to ensure the alignment of volunteer College students and the curriculum they will deliver
Collaborate with Corporate Engagement to align curriculum with the interests of corporate sponsors
Represent PODS at Leadership Team meetings and contribute to budgeting, planning, and reporting activities
Contribute to strategic growth planning in collaboration with other JerseySTEM leadership
Coordinate with Marketing to ensure support for relevant initiatives
Participate in strategic discussions within the organization to enhance efficiency
Attend virtual team meetings weekly: (Sundays 9pm EST)
Qualification
Required
Genuine concern about/interest in addressing the STEM education gender gap
Strong leadership and team-building abilities
Resourceful with a proactive attitude
Experience with K-12 schools as a parent, former student, or professional
Experience leading a function (e.g., team, department manager) and managing others
Comfortable working within a virtual environment using digital tools (G-Suite, Slack, Jira, Salesforce)
Flexibility for day-time calls with school administrators during the work week is advantageous
