The intern will assist in ensuring medical devices meet regulatory, safety, and performance requirements through various engineering tasks and collaboration with production teams.

Responsibilities
Assist in the development and optimization of manufacturing processes for medical devices
Support the implementation of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and principles
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues
Participate in the design and modification of manufacturing operations in a clean-room environment
Conduct data analysis and report findings to support process improvements
Maintain accurate documentation and records of engineering activities in compliance with regulatory standards
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical discipline
Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language (with a help of a translator, if needed)
Ability to communicate clearly by conveying and receiving ideas, information and direction effectively
Ability to demonstrate adequate job knowledge to deliver a world class performance
Ability to challenge oneself to consistently meet all goals and deadlines
Willingness to strive for excellence by producing work that is free of errors and mistakes
Desire to delight both customers and coworkers by offering encouragement, fostering teamwork and addressing conflict appropriately
Commitment to making improvements company wide
Demonstrated competence using Microsoft Office, Adobe and Internet
Good organizational skills with high attention to detail
Able to read and understand customer drawings and specifications
Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and also be an active team member
Correctable normal reading distance vision
