Responsibilities

Partner with engineering and product leadership to define and evolve the long-term OS platform strategy

Develop end-to-end program plans, influence cross-functional teams to deliver against them, and keep leadership informed on progress

Drive delivery of core OS capabilities supporting device software, system integration, new product launches, and regular release cycles

Perform risk management and change management across complex, multi-team programs

Drive internal process improvements across software engineering and platform functions

Work with teams to establish milestones, communicate program status, and identify and address potential setbacks

Ensure engineering efforts balance cost and benefit while focusing on the highest-priority partner and customer needs

Serve as an evangelist for execution excellence, platform rigor, and operational discipline across the VR organization
