Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of software developers and product engineers supporting global cloud operations
Define and oversee the architecture, development, and deployment of production software applications and infrastructure
Drive continuous improvement in team performance, operational metrics, and organizational goals
Provide technical direction for design and development activities to enhance and create new products and processes
Collaborate on overall test infrastructure and application architectures, including behavioral and high-level software designs
Ensure software deliverables meet rigorous quality standards by interfacing with internal teams and end customers
Qualification
Required
BS degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
10+ years of experience in software development/test with enterprise server, storage, or networking products
3+ years of people management experience, including leading and mentoring software development teams
Proficiency in Python, BASH, and Linux development (Ubuntu/CentOS)
Experience with container/virtualization environments (VMware, Docker) and large-scale distributed systems
Strong understanding of professional software engineering practices, including CI/CD and the SDLC
Preferred
MS degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
