Data Engineer IV -Remote-6057
itD is seeking a Data Engineer IV to build and scale real-time data infrastructure supporting the SBG Marketing Science team. This role will design and optimize high-performance data pipelines that power advertising performance insights across millions of advertisers.

Responsibilities
Develop and optimize real-time data pipelines from existing data sources to support marketing science initiatives
Structure and organize large-scale datasets to ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability
Build and maintain production-grade data tables powering 20–50 marketing signals across ~20 million advertisers
Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to translate business signals into scalable production solutions
Serve as the subject matter expert on marketing data infrastructure and provide technical guidance on data modeling and architecture
Improve pipeline efficiency, minimize errors, and ensure high accuracy of marketing signals
Act quickly on feedback and continuously enhance data systems in a fast-paced environment
Attend regular internal practice community meetings
Collaborate with your itD practice team on industry thought leadership
Complete client case studies and learning materials (blogs, media material)
Build out material to contribute to the Digital Transformation practice
Attend internal itD networking events (in person and virtual)
Work with leadership on career fast-track opportunities
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in data engineering or related technical roles
Proven experience building and optimizing large-scale data pipelines and infrastructure
Strong proficiency in Python (preferred) and SQL
Experience designing scalable data models for high-performance querying
Experience working with large datasets (millions of rows or more)
Ability to structure data creatively for performance, scalability, and reliability
Experience deploying data solutions into production environments
Strong collaboration skills and ability to incorporate feedback quickly
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related technical field required
Preferred
Experience with marketing data tables, customer lifecycle management, or CRM data systems
Experience working in advertising or marketing analytics environments
Experience supporting real-time or near real-time data processing systems
Prior experience in large-scale technology organizations
Familiarity with advanced marketing measurement frameworks
