Research Technician

Responsibilities
Assist with recruitment, enrollment, data collection and analysis, and disseminating results for a federally funded study examining the feasibility of a food is medicine approach with families of children diagnosed with cancer
Study eligible children and their parents may use English or Spanish during the consent process, and in completing study surveys and interviews
Recruitment will take place at UNC NC Basnight Cancer Hospital
Data will be collected on site and remotely via IRB -approved platforms
The hire(s) will use best practices to protect study participants’ privacy and the integrity of their data
Research team meetings will be remote
Qualification
Required
Demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work
Prior experience or background in a health-related field
Prior experience interpreting or providing patient care in clinical settings
Bilingual (Spanish + English)
Documentation of required vaccinations with negative TB testing
Completion of CITI Social Behavioral or Clinical Best Practices modules
