Responsibilities
Develop and review electrical design modification packages
Create conceptual designs and technical specifications
Evaluate design alternatives and provide technical recommendations
Support digital control system upgrades and I&C modifications
Coordinate with vendors, engineers, and project teams
Ensure compliance with NRC cyber security (10 CFR 73.54) requirements
Support 10 CFR 50.59 evaluations and modification processes
Provide technical leadership and sound engineering judgment
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
10+ years of nuclear engineering experience
Experience with electrical system design and plant modifications
Ability to obtain and maintain nuclear unescorted access
Strong communication and technical evaluation skills
Preferred
Professional Engineer (PE) license
Digital I&C modification experience
Experience with cyber security compliance for nuclear digital systems
Experience with 10 CFR 50.59 evaluations
Prior qualification as a Modification Engineer under an INPO-accredited program
