InternGKN Aerospace is reimagining air travel and is seeking a motivated Engineering Intern to support their engineering team. This internship provides hands-on experience in a manufacturing/engineering environment and exposure to real-world engineering challenges, processes, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities
Assist engineers with process improvement, data collection, and analysis
Support engineering projects related to manufacturing, quality, or operations
Create and update engineering documentation, reports, and work instructions
Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
Assist with time studies, layouts, and workflow optimization
Support testing, validation, and implementation of engineering solutions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Production, Quality, and Supply Chain
Follow all safety policies and procedures
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, Aerospace, or related field)
Completed at least one year of engineering coursework
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic data analysis
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Experience with CAD software (Siemens NX, SolidWorks, or similar)
Exposure to Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma concepts
Prior internship, co-op, or hands-on project experience
Interest in manufacturing or aerospace environments
