Responsibilities
Design, develop, enhance, and maintain moderately complex to complex PL/SQL stored procedures, functions, and packages
Create, modify, and support Oracle database objects, including tables, materialized views, triggers, synonyms, user-defined types, nested tables, and collections
Write, analyze, and optimize SQL queries to support high-volume data processing and reporting
Perform performance tuning, debugging, and issue resolution for PL/SQL code in development and production environments
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project managers to implement new functionality and refine existing solutions
Translate technical and functional requirements into accurate data reports using tools such as Crystal Reports
Contribute to business process analysis, system enhancements, and the development of reusable database components and conversion routines
Follow established database standards, security requirements, and best practices, while providing input on improvements where appropriate
Qualification
Required
U.S. Citizenship is required. Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
3+ years of hands-on experience developing and supporting Oracle databases using PL/SQL
Demonstrated experience working as a PL/SQL Developer in a production environment
Experience developing reports using Crystal Reports
Proficiency with Oracle development tools such as Oracle SQL Developer and/or TOAD
Ability to independently develop, maintain, and troubleshoot efficient and secure database objects
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred
Active DHS, Secret, or Top Secret clearance
Experience working with advanced Oracle features such as user-defined data types, nested tables, and collections
Experience supporting data migration, system modernization, or business process improvement initiatives
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and version control systems
