Responsibilities
Develop and maintain full-stack applications with emphasis on AI integration
Design and implement backend services and APIs
Collaborate with data scientists and AI researchers to embed AI models into applications
Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness
Conduct code reviews and uphold coding standards
Advise on advancements in AI technologies, tools, and best practices
Qualification
Required
A Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or a related field is required
At least 8 years of relevant experience; additional experience may substitute for education
Public Trust clearance is required
Candidates must be U.S. citizens with the ability to obtain the clearance
Extensive experience with Python as a primary language
Proven track record in building and deploying modern web applications
Experience with dynamic languages/platforms such as Node.js, Ruby, or PHP
Knowledge of prompt engineering and working with large language models (LLMs)
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and within a team
Excellent communication skills
Preferred
Proficiency with PostgreSQL or other relational databases, and NoSQL databases like Cosmos DB
Experience developing solutions on Azure supporting AI, including Azure OpenAI, Document Intelligence, and Azure App Service
