Responsibilities
Provide leadership across multiple technology platforms within the Engineering Group
Discover and evaluate new technologies, developing related processes and procedures
Develop equipment and create educational materials for technology baselines
Offer operational and development support for manufacturing test software
Maintain existing code and develop new features, enabling a robust development framework
Establish and maintain best practices for high-quality software development
Qualification
Required
BS degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field (MS preferred)
10+ years experience in a software development/test capacity
Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot/Quarkus, JPA/Hibernate, JDBC, React, REST
Expertise in Microservices, Event Driven Architecture (Kafka, nats.io), Virtual Threads
Experience with Docker, Docker Swarm/Kubernetes, Git, and various deployment strategies
Strong understanding of Testing (unit, integration, mocking), Observability, Security, Analytics, and DB management
