Responsibilities

Analyze unique supply & demand needs to drive the appropriate material availability dates and create reports to status the organization on material readiness
Present, solicit, and assess feedback on the various forecasts from Management Team
Coordinate with Commodity Managers and buyers as needed to drive expedited order requests and unplanned demand
Work closely with Production to ensure production delays are identified and action plans are implemented

Required

Proficiency in large data management: spreadsheet creation, updating, and analysis, strong team collaboration and analytical skills with ability to execute and follow-through on tasks to completion
Ability to create detailed management reports of 'can build' for operations leadership to plan build schedules and site leadership to understand customer shipment risk
Understanding of contract manufacturing schedules, ideally for custom PCBAs and machined aluminum components
Solid understanding of ERP and MRP system functionality and its application for materials planning and control
Superior organization skills, accuracy, attention to detail and a high degree of initiative
Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Outlook, Teams and Word
Strong oral communication including the ability to express ideas and information and facilitate an open exchange of ideas
Demonstrated problem solving to include the ability to identify and analyze problems; use sound reasoning to arrive a conclusions; find alternative solutions to complex problems; distinguish between relevant and irrelevant information to make logical judgments
Solid written communication skills with the ability to express facts and ideas in writing in a succinct and organize manner
Requires a high degree of independent thought and decision making
Demonstrated flexibility and results-orientated approach to handling daily tasks to completion
In person role at Rochester, NY location

Preferred

Five years of experience in electrical mechanical assembly operations with data analytics, MRP or similar work history
Experience with Infor ERP system
