Responsibilities
Provide third-level support for complex PLC, controls, and automation incidents
Troubleshoot live systems using Rockwell Automation PLC platforms (ControlLogix, CompactLogix, GuardLogix) with Studio 5000 / RSLogix
Diagnose issues related to PLC logic, HMI/SCADA, safety systems, industrial networks, and I/O
Perform structured root-cause analysis and implement permanent corrective actions
Support customers remotely via secure VPN connections
Travel to customer sites across North America to perform: Software deployments and upgrades, System health checks, Performance improvements and corrective actions
Create and maintain technical documentation and troubleshooting guides
Collaborate with internal teams to improve tools, processes, and service delivery
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or equivalent experience
3+ years of experience in industrial automation or controls support
Strong hands-on experience with Rockwell Automation PLCs and Studio 5000
Experience with industrial networks such as EtherNet/IP (ControlNet / DeviceNet is a plus)
Ability to troubleshoot live production systems in a structured and calm manner
Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
Willingness to participate in a compensated on-call / stand-by rotation
