Electrical Test Technician

Responsibilities

Maintain and operate Unmanned Systems craft and support equipment
Troubleshoot electronic and general electrical systems
Assist Engineers and Designers with prototype development and testing
Support offsite testing and demonstrations
Actively perform lab maintenance, safety audits, and material tracking
This position does not directly provide leadership or supervision to other employees

Required

Strong ability to interpret drawings and schematics
Willing to travel (25%-50%)
General electrical aptitude
Cable/harness assembly skills
Effective written and oral communication skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasking
Ability to work extended hours to meet program goals
Ability to work in extreme weather conditions (in desert and on water, away from land)
Ability to work in tight quarters and confined spaces
Ability to swim
Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET level security clearance
Working knowledge of Military specifications is a plus
Working knowledge of Military hardware is a plus
Experienced small boat handler is a plus
Basic computer skills such as word processing, spreadsheets, database & technical drawing packages
Must be a team player and able to work with minimum supervision
Associate's degree in electronic/electrical/engineering technology and 2 or more years of experience with mechanical systems, maritime and aviation systems preferred

Preferred

Boating/Water experience is preferred
