Coordinating and supporting administrative activities for divisional initiatives
Ensuring efficient administrative operations in an independent manner
Providing administrative support in the assigned department(s)
Calendar management
Scheduling appointments
Scheduling or coordinating meetings and events
Ordering supplies
Preparing meeting agenda
Preparing documents, spreadsheets, and presentation slides
Distributing information packages required for meetings
Setting up conference room
Taking and preparing minutes of meetings
Following up on meeting-generated tasks
Assisting in maintaining and monitoring the budget allocations
Preparing and processing invoices, check requests, purchase orders, travel expenditures, etc
Preparing financial reports as needed
Qualification
Required
GED or High School Diploma
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a clinical setting working directly with patients
Minimum of 3 years of experience providing administrative support to physicians
Minimum of 3 years of experience with health insurance billing processes and obtaining insurance authorizations
Preferred
Bachelor's degree
Experience working in Cardiology or Cardiothoracic Surgery
Experience working in EPIC
