Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex software components and applications, ensuring adherence to architectural standards, coding best practices, and security guidelines
Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver innovative solutions
Conduct thorough code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers to foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues in production and non-production environments, ensuring minimal disruption to critical services
Participate in the evaluation and selection of new technologies, tools, and frameworks to enhance development efficiency and system performance
Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, API documentation, and operational procedures
Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, methodologies (e.g., Agile/Scrum), and CI/CD pipelines
Ensure the security, reliability, and scalability of developed applications through rigorous testing and adherence to S.W.I.F.T.'s stringent standards
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 5-8 years of professional experience in software development, with a strong focus on enterprise-level applications
Proficiency in one or more programming languages relevant to S.W.I.F.T.'s technology stack (e.g., Java, SpringBoot) associated frameworks
Extensive experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL, Cassandra)
Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing highly available, scalable, and secure distributed systems
Strong understanding of financial messaging protocols (e.g., SWIFT MT/MX) is highly desirable
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, international, and collaborative team environment
