In this role, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and troubleshooting advanced electronic control systems and interfaces, working closely with a dedicated team to solve complex technical problems for customers in the oil and gas industry.

Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and test code for Red Lion control systems and HMIs interfacing with sensors, pumps, motors, and customer controls
Perform rigorous on-hardware testing to ensure maximum reliability and minimal software rework for fielded products
Identify technical risks and develop robust solutions for customer-specific requests or edge cases identified during development
Participate in project scoping and design, focusing on core functionality, fault management, and ensuring fail-safe operations
Provide real-time troubleshooting for equipment failures and support shop/field personnel through training and documentation
Recommend product enhancements based on field performance data and root cause analysis
Qualification
Required
Strong proficiency in Structured Text (ST) programming is required
Working knowledge of industrial control networks (Ethernet/IP, Modbus TCP, RS-232, and RS-485)
Proven ability to design and implement fault-tolerant and fail-safe control systems
Accredited Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Computer, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
A clear track record of managing technical projects from inception to completion
Ability to clearly communicate technical challenges to team members in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Background in the Oil & Gas sector is highly preferred
Experience with HMI development and an interest in applying UX principles to interface design
Familiarity with electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and electrohydraulic systems
Familiarity with cloud-based telemetry services and IoT interfaces
