Business Analyst with Customer Master Data experience
Amtex Systems Inc is seeking a Business Analyst with expertise in Customer Master Data. The role involves collaborating with business partners to translate requirements into IT solutions, ensuring accurate customer data across various functions, and supporting governance and data quality initiatives.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with business partners to gather, clarify, and translate business requirements into IT solutions for Customer Master Data (CMD)
Understand and anticipate cross-functional business needs across Sales, Finance, Order-to-Cash (OTC), and Customer Service, ensuring accurate and complete customer data
Serve as the liaison between business teams and IT, supporting initiatives around Customer Master Data governance, data quality, and operational excellence
Convert business requirements into actionable functional specifications and IT requirements
Develop and maintain user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications using tools such as JIRA
Participate in all stages of requirement implementation, including design, development, and testing phases
Identify opportunities for process improvement, re-engineering, and data quality initiatives to ensure reliable and valid customer data
Provide program-level analysis, including sequence diagrams, business/system process diagrams, future-state proposals, and UAT plans
Collaborate closely with developers and cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of requirements
Qualification
Required
7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in enterprise environments
Strong knowledge of Oracle Customer Master Data Management (CMD) processes
Experience with Oracle Sales Cloud, Oracle CX, Oracle Customer Master, Oracle Order-to-Cash (OTC), and Oracle AR. (mostly Oracle CMD and fusion)
Proficiency in gathering requirements, process modeling, and documentation
Experience developing user stories, acceptance criteria, and executing test plans using JIRA. JIRA IS A MUST
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills; excellent attention to detail. (HAS TO BE GREAT COMMUNICATOR - Knowledgeable and have convos with stakeholders)
Ability to collaborate with global cross-functional teams and lead by influence
Comfortable working onsite full-time in Atlanta. (needs to have prior exp working with global teams)
