Responsibilities
Oversee the configuration, administration, and optimization of servers, Microsoft 365 services, operating systems, virtualization platforms, and storage solutions
Support and maintain a mixed Windows and Linux infrastructure, ensuring system stability, security, and performance
Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues across multiple platforms, implementing best practices, and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and operational effectiveness
Qualification
Required
Strong technical expertise in systems administration
Proven problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
Takes ownership of systems and outcomes
Follows tasks through to completion
Proactively identifies and mitigates issues
Demonstrates a commitment to continuous learning and improvement in enterprise IT operations
Responsible for the daily management, reliability, and ongoing enhancement of MDAH's enterprise systems environment

Supports and maintains a mixed Windows and Linux infrastructure
Ensures system stability, security, and performance

Preferred
Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree and 7-10+ years of IT experience with emphasis in multi-platform hardware and software systems and systems administration
Bachelor's degree and seven to ten years of progressively responsible IT experience, with a strong emphasis on multi-platform systems administration, server infrastructure management, and enterprise software environments
