This role will lead requirements planning and documentation, support system integration efforts, and partner with business and technology stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities
Gather, analyze, and document detailed business and system requirements
Translate business needs into functional specifications, including non-functional requirements
Lead requirements workshops and produce artifacts (data flows, process models, interface/message mapping documents)
Define BDD-style requirements with clear acceptance criteria
Support user story creation and refinement in Jira
Partner with vendors, engineers, and solution designers to align on APIs, integrations, and system behaviors
Support testing, defect triage, traceability, and production issue investigations
Provide leadership and guidance to other BSAs
Ensure alignment with enterprise standards, integration patterns, and ITIL/change management practices
Qualification
Required
7+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst in system build and integration projects
Experience in Commercial Treasury or strong exposure to banking workflows (3+ years preferred)
Experience with API integrations, batch file transfers, and message queues
Familiarity with Postman and reviewing JSON/XML payloads
Knowledge of mainframe integration patterns (batch processing, flat files)
Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
Strong documentation skills (BDD-style requirements, vendor-facing specs)
Experience with Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, or similar tools
Working knowledge of ITIL and enterprise change management
Financial services industry experience required
Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills
Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, integration-heavy environment
