Responsibilities

Lead training and education programs for commercial teams on CST’s procedure platforms—implants, instruments, and biologics for correcting and stabilizing spine pathologies, advanced energy solutions to help reduce blood loss-ensuring they can confidently enable surgeons in complex spine and cranial procedures
Design and deliver immersive learning experiences, including hands-on labs and simulations, didactic and digital modules that translate complex technology and clinical workflows into actionable field support strategies
Develop competency-based learning paths and assessments to ensure field employees achieve mastery in the promotion of solutions, system demonstration, setup, troubleshooting, and procedural integration
Serve as a subject matter expert on CST technologies, providing deep insights into clinical application, surgical techniques, and selling solutions
Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Clinical, Regulatory, Legal and R&D to align training content with product launches, business priorities, and evolving clinical practices
Leverage emerging education technologies (AR/VR, interactive e-learning, digital simulation, AI-based tools) to enhance engagement and scalability of training programs
Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to Training & Education team members, establishing best practices and scalable models for global education delivery
Analyze training effectiveness through data-driven evaluations and feedback loops, recommending and implementing improvements to optimize adoption and procedural success
Support high-profile initiatives, including National Sales Meeting, procedure team development, and new product introductions, by ensuring field teams are prepared to deliver exceptional customer experiences
Act as a connector and influencer, shaping education strategies that empower commercial teams to expand surgeon capabilities and drive CST’s mission of transforming care

Required

High School Diploma or equivalent with 11+ years of relevant experience in a clinical lab setting, clinical training, field sales/support in medical device, healthcare industry or equivalent experience (OR Associate's Degree with 9+ years experience OR Baccalaureate Degree with 7+ years experience)

Preferred

Deep understanding of spine anatomy and pathologies, surgical techniques, and procedural workflows
Experience with bone biology, bone healing and bone grafting principles
Deep expertise in adult learning principles, instructional design, scenario-based learning, and competency-driven education models
Proven ability to build comprehensive curricula, assessments, and blended learning solutions (virtual, in-person, hands-on)
Demonstrated success collaborating with sales, marketing, R&D, MedEd, clinical, legal, regulatory, teams, and global partners to align training solutions with business objectives
