Responsibilities

Designs major components or major portions of functional systems, technically advanced prototypes, and specific products using computer design and engineering systems
Investigates pertinent design factors such as ease of manufacture, availability of materials and equipment, interchangeability, replaceability, strength-weight efficiency, and contractual specifications requirements and cost
Provides analytical support through all design phases, production manufacturing and field support services
Analysis and disposition of quality non-conformances (QNs) for new parts, and supplier requests for information (SRI’s)
English (read, write, speak) is required when communicating with customers, co-workers, or supervisors who only speak English

Required

Enrolled in a degree program in Mechanical Engineering and/or Aerospace Engineering
