Responsibilities
Design and architect scalable, secure, and highly available platforms on GCP
Define and implement cloud architecture standards and governance models
Lead platform engineering initiatives including Kubernetes and automation
Implement Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD enablement
Design secure networking and IAM architectures
Establish monitoring, logging, reliability, and disaster recovery strategies
Ensure compliance, security, and cost efficiency across cloud environments
Conduct architecture reviews and provide technical leadership and mentorship
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into cloud solutions
Qualification
Required
Strong hands-on experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Expertise in GKE, Compute Engine, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL/BigQuery
Strong knowledge of VPC, Load Balancing, Cloud DNS, IAM, and GCP networking architecture
Experience designing enterprise-grade, multi-project GCP landing zones
Proficiency in Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Cloud Build, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.)
Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
Scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar)
Understanding of cloud security best practices, encryption, key management, and cost optimization
Preferred
Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certification
