Responsibilities
Work closely with People & Culture Business Partners on all aspects of human resources
Develop documentation and standard operating procedures for P&C processes
Assist with recruitment activities (i.e. scheduling, interviews, job postings, etc)
Automate currently manual P&C processes
Interface with employees on a regular basis (Must be able to physically work on-site, remote work opportunities NOT available for this position)
Support company sponsored activities related to employee engagement, recognition, diversity, etc. (Must be able to occasionally support events outside of normal working hours)
Serve as a lead for our intern advisory board supporting the engagement, growth and development of all interns at VCE
Assist with administrative responsibilities within People & Culture
Qualification
Required
Completed at least one year of college in a degree related to Human Resources or other related fields
Highly motivated
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to support the company within all levels of the organization
Ability to apply knowledge on the job and communicate knowledge to individuals within the organization
Located in the local area and able to commute to work throughout the internship
Must be enrolled as a full-time student
Minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.75 GPA
Self-driven
Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite including Power BI and Power Apps)
Interest in human resources
Good time management skills
Strong communication skills (must interact cross-functionally throughout the business)
Detail oriented
Quick learner who can work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Interest and availability to begin as early as March 1, 2026, and continue into the summer term
