Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy APIs and integrations using MuleSoft (Anypoint Platform)
Implement API-led connectivity patterns (System, Process, Experience APIs)
Develop and maintain Kafka producers and consumers using MSK or Confluent
Design and implement event-driven integration workflows
Build and maintain Mule flows, connectors, and DataWeave transformations
Configure and manage MuleSoft runtimes and API Manager policies
Implement secure integrations using OAuth2, JWT, and enterprise security standards
Contribute to modernization and migration initiatives from legacy middleware (e.g., TIBCO, Apache Camel)
Develop automation scripts (Python or equivalent) to improve deployment and operational efficiency
Support incident resolution and implement long-term architectural improvements
Qualification
Required
5+ years of enterprise integration experience
3+ years of hands-on MuleSoft development experience
Strong experience with Anypoint Studio, API Manager, and DataWeave
Experience designing and deploying REST APIs
Experience managing Mule runtimes (CloudHub or on-prem)
3+ years of hands-on Kafka experience
Experience with MSK or Confluent
Strong understanding of partitions, offsets, consumer groups, and event-driven patterns
Strong API development experience using Java (preferred) or similar programming language
Experience working within event-driven and microservices architectures
Proficiency in Python or equivalent scripting language for automation
Experience implementing integration security standards (OAuth2, JWT, etc.)
Background in enterprise middleware and hybrid cloud integration environments
