Akima is searching for eager Software Engineer Interns to join our team for the Summer! Interns will be expected to contribute to projects alongside other Pinnacle engineers, as well as contribute to our STEM Capstone project to create an innovative application during their internship.

Required

Self-motivated, willing to learn, and interested in working in a team environment

Must be a student who is enrolled and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university

Must be majoring in a Computer Science-related field

Strong technical aptitude with a passion for technology and problem-solving

Basic understanding of IT concepts, including hardware, software, networks, and security

Familiarity with Windows operating systems and common software applications

Upcoming Junior or Senior

Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) or higher

Must be a US Citizen with ability to pass a background check

Must be within commuting distance to Huntsville, AL
