Responsibilities
Perform work as directed by the Material Prep Supervisor
Condition material surfaces by abrasive blasting, grinding, sanding, polishing and cleaning operations
Apply/remove protective coverings and masking from stainless steel sheet, threads and other features used to mitigate damage during process operations or used for preservation of surface conditions
Assist with loading and removal of materials and subassemblies from process operation staging areas
Package materials, subassemblies and assemblies for local and/or long-distance shipment by palletization, banding, wrapping or other methods
Load and unload local and long-distance carriers
Clean, organize and maintain shop and office spaces
Assist with facility maintenance and janitorial activities
Other duties as required
Qualification
Required
0 - 2 years in a fabrication shop environment
High school graduate
Or equivalent as determined by RJW Management
Power tool operation and safety
