Responsibilities
Have the skills and knowledge to set up and standardize equipment, process parts, interpret and evaluate for acceptance or rejection, and document results
Be thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the technique and/or Method in which they are certified
Have the skills and knowledge to conduct system performance checks in accordance with the applicable process standard
Be familiar with the codes, standards, and other contractual specifications that control the Method used at their Site
Have a basic knowledge of relevant product manufacturing and inspection technology
Be capable of providing the necessary guidance and/or supervision to trainees and Level 1 personnel in the technique and/or method in which they are certified
Qualification
Required
NDT Level II Dye Penetrant Certification
High School Diploma
Mechanical Aptitude
Ability to stand and walk throughout work, as well as carry and lift up to 35 pounds
Have the skills and knowledge to set up and standardize equipment, process parts, interpret and evaluate for acceptance or rejection, and document results
Be thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the technique and/or Method in which they are certified
Have the skills and knowledge to conduct system performance checks in accordance with the applicable process standard
Be familiar with the codes, standards, and other contractual specifications that control the Method used at their Site
Have a basic knowledge of relevant product manufacturing and inspection technology
Be capable of providing the necessary guidance and/or supervision to trainees and Level 1 personnel in the technique and/or method in which they are certified
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship
An interim and/or final U.S. secret clearance Post Start is required
Preferred
1+ years of Aircraft experience
NDT Level II Magnetic Particle Certification
Ability to become proficient with the principles and practices of the applicable test methods and techniques
Proficiency with Computing Skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
