Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain advanced analytical datasets and semantic models within Microsoft Fabric
Write and optimize complex SQL queries to support reporting, analytics, and ad hoc analysis across large healthcare datasets
Build and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards that deliver accurate, timely, and actionable insights
Partner with clinical, operational, finance, and executive stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into analytical solutions
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reporting and analytics assets
Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement
Contribute to data governance, metric standardization, and documentation efforts
Promote analytics best practices across the organization
Support executive-level analytics and presentations, including materials for senior leadership and board audiences
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, Senior Analyst, or similar role
Advanced SQL skills, including complex joins, CTEs, window functions, and query optimization
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric (e.g., Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, pipelines, semantic models)
Strong Power BI experience, including data modeling, DAX, and performance optimization
Demonstrated experience working with healthcare data (e.g., EHR/EMR, claims, clinical, revenue cycle, quality, or population health data)
Solid understanding of healthcare data concepts, terminology, and workflows
Experience translating ambiguous business questions into well-defined analytical solutions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Experience working in a healthcare provider, payer, or health technology organization
Familiarity with HIPAA and healthcare data privacy requirements
Experience with data modeling best practices (star/snowflake schemas)
Exposure to statistical analysis or predictive analytics
Prior experience supporting executive leadership or enterprise analytics initiatives
