Regional Controller
Confidential is a large, well-established services and infrastructure organization seeking a Regional Controller to join their regional leadership team. This role is responsible for overseeing all regional accounting, financial management, and internal controls while acting as a key business partner to operations and leadership.

Responsibilities
Lead the month-end close process and prepare accurate, timely financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow)
Ensure integrity of financial reporting and compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and regulatory requirements
Oversee regional A/R, A/P, Payroll, Fleet, and Purchasing/Warehouse activities
Partner with operations and field leadership to track job performance, profitability, and operational results
Maintain and manage WIP schedules and support revenue and margin accuracy
Monitor regional financial performance, analyze variances, and develop action plans to address gaps
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes for the region
Prepare cash flow forecasts and provide strategic financial recommendations
Interface with external auditors and internal stakeholders on technical accounting matters
Conduct internal reviews/audits to ensure accuracy, controls, and policy adherence
Support continuous improvement in processes, systems, and reporting
Promote and reinforce a strong safety-first culture across operations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
Minimum 5+ years of experience in accounting/finance leadership within construction, services, manufacturing, or project-based environments
Strong experience with job costing, WIP, and operational accounting
Prior experience with ERP systems (construction or project-based systems a plus)
Advanced Excel skills (complex models, analysis, reconciliations)
Proven ability to partner with operations and non-financial leaders
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities
Excellent communication skills with both financial and non-financial stakeholders
Comfortable working in fast-paced, performance-driven environments
