This role involves configuring, commissioning, and supporting lighting control systems while collaborating with project managers and other trades to ensure proper integration.

Responsibilities
Program and commission lighting control systems for commercial projects
Read and interpret lighting control schematics, riser diagrams, and system layouts
Perform system troubleshooting and diagnostics in the field
Coordinate with project managers, electricians, and other trades to ensure proper system integration
Configure and test sensors, dimmers, relays, and networked control devices
Develop system documentation including as-built drawings and commissioning reports
Support system upgrades, firmware updates, and customer training sessions
Maintain current knowledge of manufacturer software, firmware, and product releases
Represent the company professionally on job sites and provide strong customer service
Assist in system design support for quotes and submittals as needed
Qualification
Required
Customer-focused mindset with commitment to quality results
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Willingness to learn new systems and technologies
Proficiency with configuration and commissioning software
Valid driver's license and ability to travel within C&O territory
Strong communication and organizational skills
Preferred
General understanding of lighting controls, building automation, or low-voltage systems
Ability to read electrical and control wiring diagrams
Basic understanding of DALI or DMX protocols
OSHA safety certification
