Responsibilities
Mentors' other asset managers and cultivates technical and business expertise. Develops best practices guides for a specific asset class
Directs diagnostic and troubleshooting activities for chronically troubled assets
Plans and executes expense-reducing asset capital programs independently or with partnership from Engineering, Construction, and Facility Management teams
Defines asset and maintenance key performance indicators and dashboard development strategies
Analyzes and maintains financial metrics for asset inventory
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or additional role-relevant experience
Experience in engineering, facilities maintenance, or related fields, including proven experience managing technical assets
Extensive practical and theoretical knowledge of installation, operation, and maintenance of a specific asset class
Extensive knowledge of capital and expense planning, budgeting, expense tracking, and return on investment calculations
Deep analytical and proficient project management skills and the ability to plan multi-disciplinary projects
Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
Advanced negotiating and influencing skills to promote internal and external initiatives
Preferred
10+ years of relevant experience preferred
A related engineering or trade school degree, or relevant work experience
